GPA teacher runs the Boston Marathon for cancer research

Alyssa Sinel, a kindergarten teacher at GPA, ran the Boston Marathon this year with the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge to raise funds for cancer research. Running in honor of a colleague fighting the disease, Alyssa has raised more than $5,000, and is still accepting donations for this worthy cause. “This has been an amazing experience,” she said. “I’ve been inspired by everyone I work with at GPA throughout this process.”
