The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has named the Gardner Pilot Academy/YMCA After School Program a 21st Century Community Learning Center demonstration site.   GPA is one of only three schools in Boston and only 13 statewide to be chosen as a demonstration site. The distinction was earned after five years of successful work as a promising practice site and three years as an exemplary practice site for innovative after school programming.
